PEN

PEN (polyethylene naphthalate) is a polyester, characterized by a much higher glass temperature (125°), higher rigidity and a barrier that is five times better than PET. It can be processed with adapted preform geometries with stretch blow molding technology.

Application examples: refillable, pasteurizable bottles for beer.
